Stanley Terrace Early Learning Centre

Stanley Terrace Early Learning Centre (ELC) is uniquely positioned adjacent to Chatham Station and Canterbury Road, strategically located within the City of Boroondara. This four-level facility, including the ground floor, is designed to provide a comprehensive early learning environment with outdoor play spaces on each of the three activity space levels.

Spanning 4,800m², the facility includes multi-level learning spaces, four activity rooms accommodating 16-22 children each, and two care rooms for 0-2 year olds, accommodating 10-12 children each. These spaces are thoughtfully designed to foster a nurturing and engaging environment for early childhood education.

The administration and support spaces are equally well-planned, featuring staff work and amenity areas, offices, meeting rooms, children’s amenities, a kitchen, and a laundry. These facilities ensure that both staff and children have access to all necessary resources for a productive and comfortable experience. Additionally, the ground level features a car park with 24 spaces, ensuring convenient access for staff and parents.

The scope of works for this project ranges from Concept Design to Construction Services, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive development process. This approach guarantees that every aspect of the project is meticulously planned and executed, from the initial design phase to the final construction.

Stanley Terrace ELC aims to provide a nurturing and engaging environment for early childhood education, fostering growth and development in a strategically advantageous location. By offering state-of-the-art facilities and thoughtfully designed spaces, the centre is poised to become a cornerstone of the community, supporting the educational and developmental needs of children in the City of Boroondara.

This project exemplifies a commitment to creating a high-quality early learning environment that not only meets the needs of children and staff but also enhances the overall community. Through careful planning and execution, Stanley Terrace ELC is set to become a model for early childhood education facilities.
