Fitzroy Sports Centre (FSC) will be Australia’s first multi-level community indoor court facility.
The Centre will provide sport and recreation opportunities for communities of all ages and skill levels within the northern suburbs surrounding Fitzroy.

Planned as part of Development Victoria’s Fitzroy Gasworks redevelopment, the facility is being delivered adjacent to the recently completed Wurun Senior Campus. Centre users will have the access to the Campus’s indoor sports courts, providing shared use while increasing function and capacity for both community and campus students.

The facility will include a multi-purpose futsal court at ground level, with generous entry and community lounge, café and multi-purpose space. A mezzanine level above the foyer and lounge contains a 24-hour gym and change facilities. The two levels above the mezzanine each contain two multi-purpose sports courts designed for community level basketball, netball and volleyball competition, as well as social level badminton.

In all, the FSC will contain five indoor courts (stacked vertically over 3 floors), 24-hour gym, café and multi-purpose community space, support facilities including change rooms, storage, and a tournament office.
